Arrival and Airport Transfer to Your Hotel

2Day 2

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park          

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive through Uganda’s lush countryside toward Kibale Forest National Park. Along the journey, you’ll be treated to picturesque landscapes, including breathtaking glimpses of the Rift Valley escarpment. Arriving in the late afternoon, you’ll check in to your lodge and unwind in the tranquil surroundings. Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters to begin your exciting chimpanzee tracking experience. Game drive and Boat Safari on the Kazinga Channel  

Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s second-largest national park and is proudly recognized as a UNESCO Man and Biosphere Reserve. During your early morning game drive, you’ll have the opportunity to spot some of Uganda’s iconic big game species, including lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, Uganda kobs, and warthogs. In the afternoon, after lunch, you will set out for a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. This remarkable waterway connects Lake Edward and Lake George and offers a unique chance to observe a variety of aquatic wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and numerous animals gathering at the banks to drink. The channel is also renowned for its abundant birdlife, making it a paradise for bird watchers. Return to your lodge and enjoy lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Gorilla Trekking Experience

Early morning cup of coffee, then prepare for the briefing from the Uganda wildlife officials and thereafter enter the jungle to search for the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their lifestyle in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour gazing into their big round eyes. On a gorilla safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, mineral water, insect repellent, sunscreen, and a hat. The gorilla tracking experience takes half or whole day depending on the movement of these primates.

Transfer to the airport for the departure flight

After an early morning breakfast, you will check out and transfer to the airport for your onward flight. As the drive from Bwindi to Entebbe takes approximately ten hours, we recommend taking a domestic flight to Entebbe for greater comfort and time efficiency. Alternatively, you may choose to drive through Kigali for your departure, as this route offers a shorter and more convenient driving distance. Your driver guide will assist with the transfer and ensure a smooth journey to the airport.
