1Day 1
Arrival at Kigali International Airport
Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport in the evening and after completing immigration formalities, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari driver. Following a brief introduction and orientation, you will be transferred to your reserved accommodation, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

2Day 2
Transfer to Akagera National Park and Boat Trip
After your relaxed breakfast at your accommodation, you will be picked by our safari driver guide, who will transfer you the Akagera national park for big game viewing safari. Akagera national park, is the only Rwanda Savannah Park which is known for the big five game viewing in Eastern Rwanda on the border with Tanzania, it will give you a chance to spot number of wildlife and bird species. You will check in for lunch at your accommodation and later in the afternoon head for a boat trip on lake Ihema, where you will have great opportunity to spot several hippos, crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes, wallowing along the water bank, and number of bird species such as the pelican, pied king fisher’s, darters and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

3Day 3
Full day Game drive in Akagera National Park
Enjoy a leisurely morning breakfast before embarking on an exciting adventure into the park. Spend the day observing and photographing the remarkable wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, rhinos, and various antelope species. Midway through your exploration, pause for a scenic picnic lunch amidst the park’s breathtaking landscapes. After lunch, continue your game drive, immersing yourself in the diverse and vibrant habitats of Akagera. As the afternoon winds down, return to your accommodation to unwind and reflect on the day’s unforgettable experiences while awaiting dinner and a restful overnight stay.

4Day 4
Game drive and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Today, early in the morning, your driver-guide will pick you up for a game drive. Later, you will return to your accommodation for breakfast. From there, you will depart for Volcanoes National Park, enjoying the scenic winding roads and breathtaking landscapes as we journey northward. We will stop along the way for lunch before continuing the drive. Upon arrival, you will check in at the lodge, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay as you prepare for the next day’s adventure.

5Day 5
Gorilla Trekking & Cultural Village Visit.
After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters. You will meet with your ranger who will brief you about the code of conduct while are trekking gorillas. You will then enter the forest in search of the gorillas. The trekking may take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in the jungle and your group speed as well. Meet and stay with the gorillas for a maximum of one hour. After an unforgettable experience, you will walk back to the starting point, where you will be transferred to your lodge for lunch. Later head for a community village tour, where you will immerse yourself in local traditions. Experience the wisdom of traditional healers, learn the art of mat weaving, enjoy vibrant cultural dances, and discover how banana beer and traditional foods are prepared. Later back to the lodge for the diner and overnight stay.

6Day 6
Golden Monkey Trekking and Twin Lakes Boat Safari and Scenic Hike
Today, after enjoying a warm early morning breakfast, you will be picked up by our safari driver-guide and transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting off on your Golden Monkey trekking adventure. Much like the gorilla trekking experience, golden monkey trekking involves a guided hike through the forest in search of these playful and endangered primates, though the trek is generally less strenuous. After the trek, you will return to the lodge for a well-deserved lunch and a short period of relaxation. In the afternoon, you will proceed to the Twin Lakes region for a scenic boat trip on Lake Ruhondo, followed by a rewarding hike up a nearby mountain. Upon reaching the summit, you will be treated to breathtaking panoramic views overlooking Lake Burera and the surrounding landscape. After this experience, you will descend back to the lakeshore, board the boat, and return to the lodge. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the lodge, followed by a comfortable overnight stay.

7Day 7
Return to Kigali for Departure
Today marks the conclusion of your 7 Days Rwanda Best Adventure Safari. After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to Kigali. Upon arrival, depending on your flight schedule, you may visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre to gain a deeper understanding of the history of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Following that, you will return for lunch before transferring to Kigali International Airport to connect with your night flight back home.
