1Day 1
Transfer to Akagera National Park with a Boat Trip
Today, after your morning breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up by our safari guide and driven off to Akagera National Park. The journey to Akagera National Park takes about 2.5 hours, depending on the stopovers along the way. With the beautiful un winding landscape en route to the park, feel free to ask the guide for stopovers to capture some photos. On arrival at the park, we shall proceed to our accommodation after a short game drive and check in to your lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will head for a boat trip on Lake Ihema to watch Hippos and crocodiles in the water or by the shores and meet the buffaloes and elephants wallowing by the water banks. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and an evening stay.

2Day 2
Full-Day Game Drive in Akagera National Park
Today, early morning, after having your breakfast at your lodge/ camp, you will be picked up by your safari driver-guide at about 6 am from your lodge and head for a full-day safari game drive to Akagera National Park with your packed lunch from the lodge, as you will not return back. Akagera National Park is mainly a Savannah Park with Elephants, Zebras, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Waterbucks, topi, and recently introduced Lions. We shall take a game drive in search of this wildlife and numerous bird species. The game drive can last about 5-7 hours depending on the animal sightings and interest. Have a picnic lunch and continue searching for animals. Later in the evening, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and an evening stay.

3Day 3
Transfer from Akagera to to Nyungwe National Park
Today after morning breakfast, you will be picked up from your Lodge in Akagera National and transfer to Nyungwe forest. A long the way, you will have a stopover for enroute visit to the King’s Palace museum and lunch. Arriving at Nyungwe NP, you will check in to the booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

4Day 4
Chimpanzee Trekking, Canopy Walkway, and Transfer to Lake Kivu
Start your day with an early breakfast before heading to Nyungwe Forest National Park for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience. Accompanied by an expert ranger, venture into the ancient rainforest in search of playful chimpanzees while encountering a variety of other primates, colorful birds, and unique forest flora.
After the trek, enjoy the famous Nyungwe Canopy Walkway, a suspended bridge stretching above the forest canopy. This thrilling experience offers breathtaking panoramic views of the rainforest and an excellent opportunity to observe wildlife from above.
Following lunch, depart for Lake Kivu, one of Africa's Great Lakes, enjoying scenic views of Rwanda's rolling hills and countryside along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and spend the evening relaxing by the lakeshore as you prepare for the next day's adventures.

5Day 5
Coffee estate and boat trip on Lake Kivu
Today you will be picked at your Hotel after completing your morning breakfast, and you will go for a morning boat cruise to different islands in Lake Kivu, visit the famous bats islands, watch numerous bird species and enjoy the views of the lake shores, you will have a pick nick lunch, later you will embark to a coffee plantation, where you will experience coffee processing work from nursery coffee plants to a cup of taste. Then, drive back to your hotel and relax while waiting for your dinner and overnight stay.

Transfer to Kigali
