1Day 1

Transfer from the Airport to the Hotel

Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will receive a warm welcome from our company staff. After a brief introduction and safari briefing, you will be introduced to your driver guide, who will accompany you throughout your journey. You will then be transferred to your hotel for check in, followed by dinner and an overnight stay, ensuring a comfortable start to your safari adventure.

2Day 2

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park   

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your guide for a short briefing before embarking on a scenic drive through Kigali City. Your first stop will be the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where you will gain deep insight into Rwanda’s history, resilience, and journey toward healing through this powerful and educational experience. Following your visit, you will continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, traveling along picturesque landscapes and lush countryside. Upon arrival at your booked accommodation, you will check in, unwind, and spend the remainder of the afternoon relaxing and preparing for the next day’s highly anticipated Gorilla Trekking Experience.

3Day 3

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Early morning cup of coffee, then prepare for the briefing from the Uganda wildlife officials and thereafter enter the jungle to search the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their life style in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour gazing into their big round eyes. On a gorilla safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, packed food and mineral water, insect repellent, sun screen and hut. The gorilla tracking experience takes half or whole day depending on the movement of these primates. After this incredible gorilla tracking experience in Uganda, you will carry with you lasting memories and invaluable insights from a truly once in a lifetime adventure. Return to the lodge for a delightful lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will be picked up to begin your journey back to Rwanda, crossing the Cyanika border. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to unwind and settle in. Enjoy a peaceful lunch and spend the remainder of the afternoon at leisure, before concluding the day with dinner and an overnight stay.

4Day 4

Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park and Transfer Back to Kigali

After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters, where you will meet your ranger guide for a briefing on the rules and code of conduct while tracking the gorillas the same procedure followed in Uganda. The trek may take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the movement of the gorillas and the pace of your group. Once you locate the gorillas, you will have the extraordinary opportunity to observe and spend a maximum of one hour with them in their natural habitat. After this unforgettable experience, you will trek back to the starting point, where your driver will be waiting to transfer you to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to Kigali. If time permits, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial for a deeply moving and insightful experience, followed by a stop at local art and handicraft shops to purchase souvenirs. Later, you will be transferred to your Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Departure

This morning, after enjoying a delightful breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport in time for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable honeymoon adventure through Uganda and Rwanda.
