1Day 1
Transfer from the airport to the Hotel
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport and after completing the immigration process, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari driver. They will provide you with a brief orientation before transferring you to your pre-booked accommodation. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in preparation for the adventures ahead.

2Day 2
Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Today, after your morning breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel to embark on a Kigali city tour. The tour begins with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a solemn site dedicated to honouring the memory of over one million Rwandans who lost their lives during the 1994 genocide against the Tutsis. The memorial serves as a centre for education and peace building, offering a powerful experience through video testimonies from survivors, providing profound insights into this tragic chapter of Rwanda’s history. Afterward, we will proceed to Musanze, near Volcanoes National Park, where you will enjoy dinner and settle in for an overnight stay as you prepare for the next day’s adventure.

3Day 3
Gorilla Trekking Experience
Early morning cup of coffee, then prepare for the gorilla trekking briefing from the park headquarters and thereafter, you will be briefed before you enter the jungle with your packed lunch to search the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their lifestyle in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour watching their social life as you take pictures. On a gorilla safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, packed food and mineral water, insect repellent, sunscreen, and hut. The gorilla tracking experience takes half or a whole day depending on the movements of these primates. After this gorilla tracking experience, you will return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, unwind at your bungalow, soaking in the serene atmosphere and breath taking views overlooking the volcanoes.

4Day 4
Golden Monkey Trekking and Transfer Back to Kigali
Today after your early morning breakfast, at 6:30 am, you will be transferred to the park’s headquarters with your packed lunch in Office of Tourism in Kinigi where you are briefed by the ranger about the rules and regulations governing golden monkey tracking before you head off to the jungle in search for these shy lovely primates. The golden monkey trek can last from an hour to six hours just like gorilla trekking, however not much hectic as the gorilla trekking, though the trek is strenuous but much rewarding at the end. You will have one hour with the golden monkeys, allowing you to capture as many photos as you wish. After the trek, you will return to your lodge for lunch. Afte lunch, you will be transferred back to Kigali and you will be transferred to your accommodation for the diner and overnight stay.
