1Day 1
Transfer from Kigali to the Volcanoes National Park and Twin Lakes Excursion
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport (or pick-up from your hotel in Kigali), you will be warmly welcomed by your professional driver-guide. After a short safari briefing, depart for Volcanoes National Park, enjoying a scenic drive through Rwanda's beautiful countryside characterized by rolling hills, terraced farms, and picturesque villages. Enjoy lunch en route before continuing to Musanze. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and take some time to relax before heading out for an afternoon excursion to the scenic Twin Lakes (Lake Burera and Lake Ruhondo). Enjoy a peaceful boat ride across the lakes while admiring the spectacular views of the Virunga Volcanoes, followed by a leisurely scenic hike through the surrounding countryside and local communities. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

2Day 2
Gorilla Trekking Experience in Volcanoes National Park
Start a day with Early morning breakfast, then prepare for the gorilla trekking briefing from the park headquarters and thereafter, you will be briefed before you enter the jungle to search the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their lifestyle in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour watching their social life as you take pictures. On a gorilla safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, packed food and mineral water, insect repellent, sunscreen, and hut. The gorilla tracking experience takes half or a whole day depending on the movements of these primates. After your unforgettable gorilla trekking experience, you will return to the lodge for a well-deserved lunch. In the afternoon, you may choose to unwind and relax at the lodge or opt for a visit to a nearby community village, where you will immerse yourself in local traditions. Experience the wisdom of traditional healers, learn the art of mat weaving, enjoy vibrant cultural dances, and discover how banana beer and traditional foods are prepared. In the evening, enjoy dinner and settle in for an overnight stay.

3Day 3
Golden Monkey Trekking Experience
Today after your early morning breakfast, at 6:30 am, you will be transferred to the park’s headquarters with your packed lunch in Office of Tourism in Kinigi where you are briefed by the ranger about the rules and regulations governing golden monkey tracking before you head off to the jungle in search for these shy lovely primates. The golden monkey trek can last from an hour to six hours just like gorilla trekking, however not much hectic as the gorilla trekking, though the trek is strenuous but much rewarding at the end. You will have one hour with the golden monkeys, allowing you to capture as many photos as you wish. After the trek, you will return to your lodge for lunch. The remainder of the afternoon is free for relaxation. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

4Day 4
Transfer Back to Kigali and Departure
After a leisurely breakfast, check out and begin your drive back to Kigali. Enjoy lunch en route before arriving in Kigali. Depending on your departure schedule, your driver-guide will transfer you either to Kigali International Airport for your outbound flight or to your hotel.
