Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, your professional guide will welcome you and provide a short briefing before starting the day. Begin with a meaningful visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, an important center of remembrance that offers deep insight into Rwanda’s history and resilience. After the visit, continue with the scenic transfer toward south western Uganda. The route takes you through Rwanda’s rolling hills, vibrant farming communities, and picturesque countryside as you approach the Uganda border. After clearing immigration, proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.
On arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. The afternoon is free for relaxation, allowing you to settle into the forest atmosphere and prepare for the next day’s adventure. Dinner and overnight at your lodge

Gorilla Trek Experience & and Transfer to Kigali for Departure
Start the day with an early breakfast before transferring to the park headquarters for your gorilla trekking briefing. Accompanied by experienced rangers, you will enter the forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Trekking time usually ranges from two to six hours depending on where the gorillas are located. The encounter offers an unforgettable experience with one of the world’s most endangered species. After the trek, enjoy lunch and begin the return transfer to Kigali. Arrive in time for your evening or night departure flight, providing a smooth and efficient conclusion to your trip.
