Transfer from Kigali to Nyungwe and Canopy Walk
Today, after enjoying your morning breakfast, you will be picked up from Kigali and begin the scenic drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park, which takes about 5-6 hours. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge and enjoy a hearty lunch before heading out for the Nyungwe Canopy Walk. Suspended high above the forest, the canopy walk offers breathtaking views of the lush jungle and a chance to spot some of the park’s unique wildlife. After this thrilling experience, return to your lodge to relax, have dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the sounds of the forest.

Chimpanzee Trekking, Canopy, and Transfer to Kigali
After an early breakfast at 5:00 A.M you will set off for the chimpanzee trekking start point inside Nyungwe Forest. Guided by experienced rangers, you will hike through the dense forest to observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat, learning about their behavior and conservation efforts. Following the trek, enjoy lunch at your lodge before beginning the journey back to Kigali. Along the way, there may be scenic stops for photos or short walks, and by evening you will arrive in Kigali for drop-off at your hotel or the airport, concluding the memorable two-day wildlife adventure.
