Transfer to Akagera National Park
On this day, you will be picked up from your hotel or Kigali International Airport and then transferred in the afternoon to Akagera National Park, approximately 2.5 hours from Kigali. Upon arrival, you will complete park registration and later proceed to Lake Ihema for a scenic boat cruise in lake Ihema. The cruise offers excellent opportunities to spot aquatic animals like hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds and other animals along the shores. After the boat ride, transfer to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full Day Game Drive and Return to Kigali
Today, early morning with an early breakfast, you will be picked up by your safari driver guide from your accommodation and embark on a full-day game drive through Akagera National Park in search of wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, topis, waterbucks, and many bird species. Enjoy a lunch break inside the park before continuing your safari through different wildlife-rich areas. In the late afternoon, exit the park and drive back to Kigali, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your safari.
