Arrival in Kigali and Transfer from the Airport to the Hotel

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will proceed through customs and immigration. Our company guide will be there to warmly welcome you to the "Land of a Thousand Hills," as Rwanda is affectionately known. Afterward, you will be transferred to your reserved hotel accommodation, where you can unwind, enjoy a delicious dinner, and settle in for an overnight stay.

2Day 2

Full Day Kigali City Tour

Begin your day with a relaxed breakfast. At 9:00 am, meet the company representative driver-guide and start your Kigali city experience. Enjoy a cultural immersion at the Nyamirambo Women’s Center, including a traditional snack, a short Kinyarwanda lesson, and a guided neighborhood walk. Continue with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial for a meaningful insight into Rwanda’s history, followed by a stop at the vibrant Kimironko Local Market. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight, reflecting on a day rich in culture and discovery.

Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After enjoying an early morning breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Kinigi-Musanze, traveling along a breathtaking route that showcases Rwanda’s stunning landscapes. Along the way, you will pass by the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, a world-class center dedicated to gorilla conservation and research. Following this inspiring visit, you will continue to your pre-booked accommodation in Musanze near Volcanoes National Park. Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing and soaking.

4Day 4

Gorilla Trekking Adventure

Early morning after breakfast at 6:30 am, continue to the park headquarters in Kinigi, then prepare for the gorilla trekking briefing from the park headquarters. Thereafter, you will head into the jungle with your packed snacks and drinks to search for the mountain gorillas and enjoy their lifestyle in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour watching their social life as you take pictures. The gorilla tracking experience takes 2 - 6 hours depending on the movements of these primates. After this gorilla tracking experience, you will return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you can choose to relax at the lodge, enjoying the serene surroundings, or take a drive to explore the town of Musanze and its vibrant community. End the day with a delightful dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

5Day 5

Golden Monkey Trekking and Culture Village Visit

After an early morning breakfast, at 6:30 am, you will continue to the park headquarters at the Office of Tourism in Kinigi. Upon arrival, you will join other trekkers for a briefing by the ranger, covering the rules and regulations for golden monkey trekking. This essential orientation ensures a safe and respectful experience for both visitors and the shy, lovely primates. Equipped with your packed snacks, you will then venture into the jungle in search of the elusive golden monkeys. The trek can last anywhere from one to six hours, much like gorilla trekking, but is generally less strenuous. Although the trek can be physically demanding, it is deeply rewarding, offering an incredible opportunity to observe these playful primates in their natural habitat. Once you locate the golden monkeys, you will have one magical hour to watch and photograph them as they interact and go about their daily activities. After the trek, you will return to the lodge for a well-deserved lunch, followed by a visit to Ibyiwacu culture village. Conclude the day with a delicious dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

After an early breakfast, you will be picked up by our safari guide at 8:00 am for your transfer to Akagera National Park. The drive takes approximately 2.5 hours, depending on stopovers along the way. the scenic route offers breathtaking landscapes, and you’re welcome to ask the guide to stop for photo opportunities as you soak in the views Upon arrival at the park, you will enjoy a short game drive as you head to your accommodation for check-in and a brief rest. Later in the afternoon, embark on a boat safari on Lake Ihema, where you will have the opportunity to spot hippos and crocodiles in the water or lounging along the shores.
