Early in the morning, your safari driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel or residence in Kigali at around 4:00 AM and transfer you to Volcanoes National Park, approximately 2.5 hours away. Upon arrival, you will register and attend a briefing by park rangers before beginning your golden monkey trek through the bamboo forest. Once the monkeys are located, you will spend time observing and photographing them as they feed, jump between trees, and interact with one another. After the trek, enjoy lunch in Musanze before driving back to Kigali, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
